cli install doesn't work on macos-13.3.1(a)

Install doesn't work. Attempting to run influx results in a dialog telling me that the developer could not be verified. I know how to work around this for launchable binaries but not for shell callable ones. So, eg, I can't use the documented commands for creating the initial config.
