Description

On the InfluxDB [schema design page](https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/cloud/write-data/best-practices/schema-design/), make use of the [Flux cardinality() function](https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/cloud/reference/flux/stdlib/influxdb/cardinality/) and [operational monitoring template](https://github.com/influxdata/community-templates/tree/master/influxdb2_operational_monitoring), as part of the recommended steps to track cardinality and prevent cardinality from growing unmanageably large.
