Description

We have people at the company that need to click on the nav 2-3 times to land on the right page they intended to.

Perhaps having just icons isn't enough. Expecting the user to remember what icon does what is too much cognitive load.

The video describes it really well here: https://www.nngroup.com/videos/icon-text-labels/

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Review the navigation UI and the linked Nielsen Norman Group video first; the work is done when users can identify and reach the intended page without repeated navigation attempts.
