Description
The current release process successfully uploads the tags and the artifacts, but has no changelog.
There is a changelog that is checked into the repo, so it would be nice if the descriptions could be the new changelog added.
Contributor guide
First steps
- Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.
- Comment on the issue to say you are picking it up — it saves two people doing the same work.
- Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
- Open a pull request that references the issue number.
Research direction
Inspect the current release process and the changelog checked into the repository. Determine where GitHub release descriptions are created, then connect the relevant changelog content to those descriptions. Done means a release includes the new changelog text while tags and artifacts continue to upload successfully.
