Description
Hey coders,
I recently came across node-ip as I was looking for an easy library to parse and match IP addresses. Today we just discovered some severe bugs and I just want to suggest maybe to refer in the README.md to https://www.npmjs.com/package/ipaddr.js as an alternative, because this library is defacto unusable for IPv6.
I don’t want to insult someone, I just want to protect other hasty developers like me.

Research direction
Read README.md and review how it currently describes IPv6 support and alternatives. Check the linked ipaddr.js package for the reference details, then update the README with the suggested alternative; the documentation is done when readers can find that recommendation.
