consider adding live update modules to homepage e.g. like newsletter sections

We could make the homepage a lot more "live" and show more activity/recency by incorporating some set of live updated modules. Issue here for tracking discussion, actual iterative brainstorming on the wiki itself: https://indieweb.org/site-homepage#New_live_modules
