Description
Feedback:
>A line where I can put a start and end date that corresponds with my universe along with events, low important to high. Maybe different little symbols for wars, or whatever. I also want to say this is an awesome site, thank you.
>A calendar would be dooooope.
>I would love a calendar to make it easier for timelines. For example, there's exactly six weeks in my novel. I would love for there to be a calendar so I can mark events as they happen along the "countdown" to a final day.
Not sure how to do this when you think about supporting any span of years, of any duration of time per year, any number of days per week (if "weeks" exist), etc. Time is hard; thoughts very welcome.

Research direction
Review the related discussion in #94 and the existing timeline functionality before proposing an approach. Define how start and end dates, event importance, symbols, calendars, and unusual spans such as six-week countdowns should work; the feature is done when these requirements are agreed and implemented consistently.
