Description

I was wondering if this was possible and maybe I am missing it? Or any plans on doing this? What would be required to do this? It would be helpful for growing certain worker pools based on some external number that grows/shrinks dynamically (like connections).

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reading the worker-pool API and its active-pool lifecycle, then determine how workers are currently created and removed. Done would require an agreed design and implementation for dynamically resizing active pools, with tests covering growth and shrinkage.
