Description

This can be inconsistent; some URLs seem to be available and others do not. The problem shows up in the Automatic link checker.

Workaround has been to take off the forward slash at the end of URLs if they come up in the reports from the autolink checker.

Research direction

Start with the Automatic link checker and reproduce the report using URLs with trailing slashes. Determine how the checker handles 303 responses and define completion as consistent handling of these URLs without requiring the reported workaround.
