Description
Right now, ImageJ 1.x is packaged for Gentoo as part of the [Gentoo Science packages](https://github.com/gentoo-science/sci). It would be great to update this to ImageJ2 instead. However, we need to tackle general problems with packaging modular Maven-based projects into Gentoo. See [this thread](https://github.com/imagej/imagej1/issues/28) for some discussion.
