Description

An earlier interface between MATLAB & ImageJ, MIJ, has had good success on File Exchange: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/47545-mij-running-imagej-and-fiji-within-matlab

That continues to get regular downloads, indicating ongoing interest in bridging these ecosystems. From the website, ImageJ-MATLAB appears to be a newer and more recently updated interface between them. Since MATLAB users often find/discover tools through File Exchange and (more recently) the [Add-on Explorer](https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/add-ons.html) - which pulls through File Exchange entries - it is suggested to create a File Exchange entry for ImageJ-MATLAB.

Note that File Exchange in recent years has made it possible to simply connect [GitHub repositories to File Exchange entries](https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/content/fx/about.html?s_tid=gn_mlc_fx_help#Why_GitHub) so this suggestion can be a one-time "set and forget" step. Within the entry's configuration, it's possible to configure the link to use either the latest Release or latest commit, as preferred, and to have the GitHub README do "double duty" as the File Exchange description.

Research direction

Review the GitHub README and the linked File Exchange guidance first. Create a File Exchange entry for ImageJ-MATLAB, choosing whether it follows the latest release or commit and using the README as its description; done means the repository is linked and discoverable through File Exchange and Add-on Explorer.
