Keep Orthogonal Views Maximized

When using orthogonal views, it would be very helpful to keep the orthogonal views maximized as I scroll through the z-stack. Is this a possibility? Currently, if I click away from the orthogonal view screen it gets resized to be smaller. I am also open to implementing this if someone could point me in the right direction of where to modify the code. Thanks!

No file or test is named. Reproduce the orthogonal-view workflow while scrolling the z-stack, then trace the code responsible for resizing the view after clicking away; done means the orthogonal views remain maximized throughout that workflow.
