Research direction

Start by locating explainshell's command-line argument parsing and the handling of XCU conventions. Reproduce the issue with a command that accepts the -- operand, then trace how arguments after it are classified. Done means -- stops subsequent arguments from being treated as files while preserving the stated echo exception.
