Description

Users would like to be able to select a complex on the species filter list. The complexes have been added to the list, but we need to add functionality to select the species within the complex when the complex is selected. The species under complexes are given in the below spreadsheet.

species list.xlsx

We also need to ensure the complexes are displayed correctly in the filter list and legend - contact Marianne to check how these should be displayed.

AC's:

  • The complexes in the spreadsheet above are displayed correctly in the filter list and on the legend when selected
  • When a complex is selected, the filter is applied to that complex and also the species under that complex, as defined in the spreadsheet.

Research direction

Start by locating the species filter and legend entry points, then compare their current handling of the complex entries with species.list.xlsx. Confirm the intended display with Marianne before changing the selection behavior. Done means complexes display correctly in both places and selecting one includes its spreadsheet-defined species.
