Description

The users would like to have a greater resolution of data in the models/raster layers so that they can zoom in to a local environment and see how this affects villages and towns in an area. The former is not covered in this story as this is the concern of the OXU modelers. This should be raised with them. However, we should add a basic town/village/urban dwellings layer to the map to allow easier investigation around human vectors. We have examples of how to handle this for a number of layers.

Find an appropriate geotif. Convert to mbtiles using logic that is already in place. Ensure to update map config so the tiles can be found and displayed on the map. If size is a concern refer to #214

Research direction

Read #214 for guidance on tile size, then locate the existing geotiff-to-mbtiles conversion logic and map configuration used by comparable layers. Select an appropriate geotiff, convert it, and update the configuration so the town, village, and urban tiles display on the map.
