Description

An investigation into the 'best' way of displaying the required data on the map needs to take place before we can start plotting the data.
We need to collect all the data types and formats that are required for display, and investigate the cleanest and clearest visual markers for the data. This may include associated metadata. This may involve creating mock-ups of the data displays, and sending them to the wider team for comment.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • A list of data types to be displayed has been collated and added in an appropriate place in the documentation
  • For all of the data types above, an appropriate visual marker for the data and it's corresponding metadata is also documented.

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by inventorying the data types, formats, and associated metadata that must appear on the map, then investigate visual markers and prepare mock-ups for wider-team feedback. Done means the documentation contains the data-type list and a documented marker and metadata treatment for each type.
