Description
I'm not satisfied with the naming convention in the C API especially in terms of code auto-completion

Document differences between make, and create
More thought needs to be put into this

Research direction
Start by reviewing the C API naming convention, including handle names such as dnmx_hobject and dnmx_htype, and the existing meanings of make and create. The issue needs a settled naming scope and documented differences before implementation; done means the convention and terminology are consistently defined.
