No error reported when zip compression is missing.

I know that the documentation states "You have to have the zip compression library of your php installation activated".
However, I got no feedback that I had missed this and the output just looked like is hung somewhere. No error of any kind was reported. Even though I posted on the forum for help, I got none there.
I did get help and learned that was my problem.

If there is a way to check this during execution, then an error should be reported.
If not, two other possibilities exist:
1. You might try providing a command for checking this.
2. You could provide documentation supplying expected status output and what is means.

All I got was a single line saying "Added..." and nothing more. Turning on Debug provided no more useful informaiotn.

Reproduce a site export with PHP's zip compression library disabled, using the issue's reported single "Added..." line as the starting symptom. Inspect the export execution path and debug output to determine where the missing dependency can be detected. Done means the missing library produces useful feedback, or the issue documents a concrete check and expected status output.
