Description

**Describe the bug**
When viewing a page using MathJax code (https://www.inference.vc/untitled/) in Firefox, Highlights that span an equation always stop at the end of the equation, regardless of how long the selected text was.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. In Firefox, go to https://www.inference.vc/untitled/
2. Find a MAthJax equation, like **p(x,y,z,…)** or **p(y|x)**.
3. Create a Highlight or Annotation beginning before the start of the equation and ending after the equation.
4. Observe that the quoted text in the Card ends at the end of the equation, instead of the end of the selected text.

**Expected behavior**
Expected behavior would be to have the quoted text on the Card correspond to the text you selected. This behavior can be observed in Chrome.
