Description
There are two separate annotation card renderers -- one for the sidebar, one for activity pages. There a variety of ways in which the two renderings differ. When outright failures occur, it's typically the fault of activity pages. Ideally we'd converge on a single card renderer. Meanwhile this card can gather examples that we might (or might not) want to reconcile. It might also serve as the basis for documentation about which HTML constructs are expected to work, or not, in both renderers.
Here's the latest mismatch I've found (annotation: https://hyp.is/tUdQ9k6cEeizrnMqlyxKdw/www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-prime-minister-abe-japan-joint-press-conference/)

Research direction
Start by reviewing the linked annotation and comparing the sidebar and activity-page annotation card renderers. Gather the rendering mismatches described by the issue, then determine whether the outcome should be reconciled behavior, documented HTML support, or both; the issue does not name files or tests.
