Description

i'm finding the amount of highlighting from others pretty distracting in trying to read and process the information. I see there is a way to turn it off (with the little "eye" icon) but every time I add an annotation it turns itself back on again//I wonder if this is a feature request that should be made? It's pretty annoying to have to keep toggling things on and off to read through the document.

----

I have had quite a few requests verbally and in email that center around a specific function. I am not sure that I am articulating them correctly in Harvestr feedback, so I want to post it here for some thoughts...
Instructors want a way to control the group interaction with a toggle- e.g. switch all existing annos to private until the newcomer to the assignment contributes their own annotation. Another scenario- instructor wants to make annos private or public at different points in the assignment's "active" time frame. Basically, they want to adapt group controls for different instructional use cases.

----

+1 to these requests. Flagler College, Augusta University, and Winthrop University all want the ability to set all existing annotations to private until the newcomer to the assignment contributes their own annotation.
