2. See the page starts to show the content from gizmodo.com
3. Then it turns blank

### Expected behaviour
Should render the page and the annotations.

### Actual behaviour
Page renders then goes blank

### Browser/system information
Mac OSX, Firefox and Chrome.

### Additional details
Have hypothes.is extension disabled.
