Unable to connect with @interchain-kit/keplr-mobile

I'm trying to use `@interchain-kit/keplr-mobile` in my react app, following https://docs.hyperweb.io/interchain-kit/quick-start#react-setup

But when I'm trying to connect for the first time from desktop, I'm getting "Approve Keplr Mobile connection request on your mobile." (see screenshot) while it should display a QR code. When trying to connect from mobile, I also get this "Approve..." message (this is expected) but nothing happens in my Keplr mobile app (iOS).
I could also reproduce it from your example apps.
