I had an issue where I put the link given, and it throws an undefined, howver when I try to format it as a PNG, it works properly

This might be a problem with the way JSON is being returned. When I use the PNG format, Forces Content-Type: image/png instead of application/json (which I think is what you use) I don't really know if it could be a cache problem or a problem with the API, but worth checking it out.
