Not working unless ran from Terminal

Hello, I've been using the remote app and really enjoying it! My only issue is that it only works if i run MPV from the terminal instead of just opening it from my taskbar which i'm much more used to. If not that's also fine but just want to know what to do to make it just that much more convenient for me.

I also was unable to get the mpvremote-address script option to work, but just now figured out that the option is just address which is not correctly worded on the mpv sctipt-opts section of the read me
