Description
The last lesson in the Skills section ([Building Your First Skill](https://huggingface.co/learn/context-course/unit1/building-skills)) briefly introduces testing and validation. As a follow-up, it may be valuable to add a dedicated follow-up section focused on evaluating and debugging Skills in more realistic development scenarios.
While building Skills that interact with MCP tools, I found it helpful to look beyond basic activation testing. Evaluating tool selection, instruction following, output quality, and behavior after updates all became important parts of the development process.
### Possible Topics
- Skill activation vs. Skill effectiveness
- Evaluating Skill outputs
- Debugging common Skill failures
- Skills and MCP tool interactions
- Evaluation workflows and prompt suits
This could serve as a natural bridge between the Skills and MCP sections while introducing real-world development workflows.

Research direction
Start with Unit 1's Skills section and the linked Building Your First Skill lesson, especially its existing testing and validation material. Define the scope for a follow-up section covering evaluation, debugging, MCP tool interactions, and evaluation workflows; done means the new section is integrated as a clear bridge to the MCP material.
