Home Assistant Companion App: latest App Store version
Description:
The Home Assistant iOS Companion App displays a permanent blank white screen. The same Home Assistant instance works normally when opened through Safari on the same iPhone and the same Wi-Fi network.
Troubleshooting already completed:
1. Force-closed and reopened the app.
2. Reset the frontend cache.
3. Removed the iPhone/mobile app registration from Home Assistant.
4. Deleted the Home Assistant app from the iPhone.
5. Restarted Home Assistant through Safari.
6. Completely powered off the iPhone and turned it back on.
7. Reinstalled the Home Assistant app from the App Store.
8. Registered the iPhone again and granted notification permissions.
Result:
After all the steps above, the app still opens to the same permanent blank white screen. Safari continues to work normally. The issue therefore occurs only in the iOS Companion App.
Expected behavior:
The Home Assistant dashboard should open normally in the Companion App.
Actual behavior:
The app remains on a blank white screen indefinitely. No dashboard or error message is displayed.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the blank white screen in the iOS Companion App using the listed iPhone and network conditions, then compare the same Home Assistant instance in Safari. No source file, test, or entry point is identified in the issue, so first locate the app's dashboard loading path and relevant diagnostics. Done means the dashboard opens normally instead of remaining blank.
