Description
Model Name: iPhone 15
Software Version: iOS27 public beta 3
App version: 2026.8.0 (2026.2773)
**Home Assistant Core Version**
2026.8.2
**Describe the bug**
There are two problems:
- Focus mode is updating but only if you switch between, if you go from no focus to focus mode it's not changing the Focus name.
- Sensor Focus name is not updating, attribute "Is focused" keeps alway false and state "Not focused".
**To Reproduce**
Set a focus mode from no focus, this will not updating the Focus mode.
Set a focus mode from any focus of choice, this will updating the Focus mode.
**Expected behavior**
Set a focus mode from no focus needs to update the focus mode + it needs to update the Focus sensor name and attribute.
**Screenshots**
This will only show the focus sensor not updating, it's not including the other bug no focus to focus mode.
**Additional context**
To be clear, i have added all my focus modes (names) as filters .

Research direction
No source file or test is named. Reproduce the transition from no Focus to a selected Focus on an iPhone 15 running iOS 27 public beta 3, then trace the focus sensor update path; done means the Focus name, sensor state, and “Is focused” attribute update correctly for both transitions.
