Model Name: MacBook Air m2
macOS Version: macOS 26.5.2
App Version: 2026.7.1
Safari Version: 26.5.2

**Describe the bug**
Every time I launch home assistant companion app on my Mac I get a popup offering to help me secure my remote connection. I make a selection. Click "next" and nothing happens. I just have to close the popup and the next time I launch the app everything repeats.
**To Reproduce**

**Expected behavior**
The next button should do something to complete the setup.
