Description

**Home Assistant Android app version(s):**

**Android version(s):**2026.4.4 on Android 16

**Device model(s): Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

**Home Assistant version: HomeAssistant OS 2026.6.1

**Last working Home Assistant release (if known): NA

Recently I have noticing that the internal URL when connecting to Homeassistant does not work. This used to work flawlessly where the external URL was https://someurl.domain.com and the internal url when connected to known WiFi was http://someurl.domain.com:8123. Recently i am noticing that even though the internal URL is configured correctly when the app tries to hand over the connection to the browser it uses the URL https://someurl.domain.com:8123 which gives a "This site cannot provide a secure connection with ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR." If the site is given in the browser manually with http://someurl.domain.com:8123 the site opens normally
