**Description of problem, include YAML if issue is related to notifications:**
I've created a widget-button on my home screen to unlock my front door. Problems:
* Very slow response, often takes tens of seconds
* Lock status often does not update
* When tapped, door unlocks, but widget keeps on "spinning" and not updating for minutes.
The aituation is quite bad on my pixel, however it's much worse for my wife on xiaomi - it often does not work completely and she has to open the app to find a button there (it works properly, but app is slow to load).

**Additional information:**
On both of our phones "battery optimization" is disabled for HA app, background data is enabled. There seems to be nothing else we can "allow".
Note: HA is being accessed via proper public domain, there's no VPN, dyndns, tunneling or any other weirdness involved.
I'm quite patient, and especially is my wife. We have this problem for couple years now, since it was setup.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong and there's a quick fix for this? Any other suggestion for different implementation of convienient (quickest and minimum taps) door unlocking?
