**Android version(s):**

**Device model(s):**
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9FE amd S10FE
**Home Assistant version:**
2026.2.3 and all versions last 2-3 months
**Last working Home Assistant release (if known):**
Don't know, 2-3 months back
**Description of problem, include YAML if issue is related to notifications:**

I work with homeassistant mainly with the companion app on my 2 Samsung tablets S9FE and S10FE and also do the programming of automations/scripts. Since 2-3 months back I detect the following annoying problem: Not always, but sometimes when homeassistant sends a popup window to confirm something ( "Are you sure..." ) or to configure for example a sensor after entering the data and clicking on next/proceed... the pop up does not disappear as it would normally but stays on the screen and I cannot do anyting - the app accepts no more input. I have noticed this behaviour on different menus ( changing sensor info, confirmation screens, shortly everywhere where a popup screen can appear ).
After the hang I have to kill the app and restart it. I didn't mind very much, because I could continue after 4 fast clicks and it the problem appeared only 1 - 5 times a day, but yesterday I was in the middle of programming a large variables yaml code and the work of half an hour was lost.

**Companion App Logs:**
Are there any logs if I kill the app and restart it ? I was so annoyed I did not look for logs.

Will send a screenshot at next appearance of problem

Any advice how to produce a better bug report ?
