Description

Hello.
I recently moved from an Android mobile phone with Android 12 to a new Android mobile phone with Android 16.
The new mobile phone is a Realme 14 Pro 5G (RMX5057).
I noticed the sensors/entities "binary_sensor.NAME_interactive" and "binary_sensor.NAME_device_locked" very often does not update the states.
With the previous Phone with Android 12 these sensors/entities always worked perfectly in real time.
I tried to do my best on the phone to leave the Home Assistant Android application always running (also in background) doing:

1. Settings -> Apps -> Home Assistant -> Battery usage -> and set to "Unrestricted" (enable backgroud activity)
2. Disabled "Remove permissions if app is unused"
3. Locked the App in "Recents"

whith these settings it seems to works better but often when I lock the device (so I don't use the phone for a while) the entity "binary_sensor.NAME_interactive" reamain "Active".

I'm using the latest version of the Home Assistant app: 2026.2.3-full
HA Core: 2026.2.3
HA Supervisor: 2026.02.2
HA OS: 17.1
HA Frontend: 20260128.6

I am participating in the BETA program for the Home Assistant Android application.

There are some others thingh I can do on the Phone to have "binary_sensor.NAME_interactive" and "binary_sensor.NAME_device_locked" real working in real time?
Or on the Home Assistant Android application there is some you can do to improve this?
I'm available for testing.

Just for your info, I notices the same issues on the Phone of my wife that is Android 15.

Many thanks!
