Please make ~ point to the same place as cd

Hi there, thanks for this app, I am really enjoying it. I want to use vimplug with vim, but it gets very confused as ~ is a read only directory. Please could you make ~ point to the Documents folder, which is also where running cd takes you. I think this would fix vimplug snd make vim inside a-shell even more awesome.
