FR: Option for different background color for dark mode

I like having my background color as #EEE3CC, a fairly light color. This works fine during the day, but when automatic dark mode kicks in, the text in a-Shell turns to white, and it's unreadable.

Obviously I could fix this by turning off dark mode in a-Shell, but I don't want to. Instead I want to be able to specify a "light mode" background color and a "dark mode" background color.
