First launch after installation: Unable to send input to the terminal

Description
I have only tested this with the AppStore version of a-Shell Mini.
The first launch after installation, while the keyboard appears, text I enter does not appear to be sent to the terminal (not echoed/not run).
Closing and re-opening the app fixes the issue.
