Description

Hi,

I previously opened Issue #376.

I’m the developer of Marsilea, a Python package for declarative and composable visualization. The API is now stable, and the package has been published in a peer-reviewed journal (Genome Biology).

Would you be interested in adding some examples using Marsilea? I’d be happy to contribute! Here are some example visualizations created with Marsilea:

Marsilea is already being used in the community. For instance, in the biological field:

Let me know what you think—I’d love to collaborate!

Research direction

Start by reviewing the Marsilea real-world visualization examples linked in the issue and the Scanpy Marsilea integration page. Clarify which examples the gallery wants and where they should appear; done means agreed examples are added to the Python chart gallery and published.
