At present the code to be delivered is expected to live in the current directory's _release_ subdirectory. Clearly in order to retain more versatility and become generally applicable it should instead be able to deal with deliverable code at any identified point in the filestore.

The issue identifies the current directory’s _release subdirectory as the existing assumption. Start by tracing where the deliverable location is selected, then define and test how an arbitrary filestore location is supplied; done means the builder no longer requires _release.
