visually indicate search mode, separate keys for regex / non-regex search

1. The only way to switch between regex and non-regex search is to use the dropdown on the search icon. (or have I missed something?)
2. It is also not possible to tell which mode you are in without looking at the drop down.
- Suggestion: Could the search icon for regex be changed to show "/" at the start and end of the input.
3. There are two search keys, F3 which is customisable, and "/" which is not.
- Suggestion: Could the keys be changed to:
- F3 always starts a non-regex search
- "/" always starts a regex search
This would also solve the first point.
