Can you make it so that this will work when I double click an item to paste it in the text editor in Blender

When I double-click an item in Visual Studio Code, the code is pasted immediately, which is the desired behavior. However, when I try to do the same in Blender's text editor, the text is not pasted automatically. Instead, I have to manually use Blender's own copy and paste functionality.
