Description

This is a roll-up issue for the development of a Interledger Testing Framework (ITF).

The Testing Framework requires deployment of multiple ledgers through Solo and CLPR support by Block Nodes, Mirror Nodes, and SDK.

The goal of the testing framework is to be able to submit application transactions to ledgers, observe realtime state changes in the block stream through filtered subscriptions to block nodes, and be able to query CLPR related transaction history from the Mirror Node. Testing agents are programmable and can communicate with multiple networks to verify healthy operation of multi-network CLPR applications.

Research direction

This roll-up issue names Solo, Block Nodes, Mirror Nodes, and the SDK as the main areas to investigate. Start by mapping the existing ledger deployment and node interfaces, then define the framework boundaries and validation plan; done means programmable agents can submit transactions, observe filtered block-stream changes, and query CLPR transaction history across multiple networks.
