# ArtifactHub Repository Ownership Transfer Tracking

**Total Repositories:** 136

When many Helm chart repositories were initially added to ArtifactHub, Helm project admins were set as default owners. We receive all automated notifications for these repos, but these notifications are only useful for chart maintainers not for Helm project admins. This issue tracks transferring ownership to the actual maintainers of each charts repo.

Process for Helm org maintainers:

1. Pick an unchecked repository from the tables
2. Open an issue (for repos with Git sources) or contact maintainers directly (email/Slack)
3. Update 'Contacted' with the issue/message link and ✅
4. Update 'Replied' and 'Claimed' with ✅ as progress is made
