Tails commenting on the supposed location of the professor after getting into Spagonia for the first time:

The only problematic line in this clip is the second sentence from Tails. The first is scene contextualization whilst the second is a hint on where you should go to move the game forward.

There's a possibility of more of these existing, a deeper investigation should be made and all instances of a similar line should be collected before moving along with any changes.

These type of comments from Chip don't exist in the second half of the game and are clearly meant to direct the player in the direction of moving the game forward, thus should be affected by the toggleable Hints option.

Start by reproducing the reports with the Hints option off at Egg Devil Ray, Cool Edge Act 1 (Day), and first entering Spagonia. Investigate and collect every similar Chip or Tails line, comparing them with the second half of the game. Done means all progression-directed hint comments are suppressed when Hints is disabled while contextual comments remain.
