Research direction
No source files, tests, or code entry points are identified in the issue. Start by reproducing Jungle Joyride Act 5 at 180 FPS and compare it with 179 FPS or lower. Done means Sonic no longer dies immediately when control is gained at 180 FPS or above, while the original reproduction boundary is covered by a regression test.
