Description
I noticed in the readme file that NodeJS needs to be between 14 and 16. These are past end of life and don't receive fixes anymore - is the readme out of date or does the code require deprecated versions of NodeJS to function?

Research direction
Start with the NodeJS version statement in the README and compare it with the project's configured requirements. Determine whether the documented range is still required or outdated; done when the README accurately reflects the supported NodeJS versions and the question is resolved.
