Description
Hi,
I've been installing the HaskellPlatform 8.0.2-a for Windows 64bits on a Win 7 N Pro.
WinGHCi never started correctly. GHCi does start correctly.
I tried to apply the solution suggested in #3, without success, as there is not history to delete.
First installation was into a directory that was not on C:\. I tried uninstall/reinstall in the default location without success.
I tried uninstall/install 8.0.1 for Windows 32bits, which lead to the same result.
I have an installation of MinGW of my own (and it's in my %PATH%). Could it interfere?
Thanks,

Research direction
Start by reproducing the WinGHCi startup freeze with HaskellPlatform 8.0.2-a on the reported Windows 7 setup, comparing it with the working GHCi entry point. Check whether the separately installed MinGW on %PATH% or the installation location affects startup; done means identifying the cause and verifying that WinGHCi launches normally.
