Description

Stack documentation:
https://docs.haskellstack.org/en/stable/yaml_configuration/#ghc-installation-customisation

Script provided by GHCup:
https://github.com/haskell/ghcup-hs/blob/master/scripts/hooks/stack/ghc-install.sh

This has been supported since stack 2.9.1. I imagine this can be added as another configuration option.

Research direction

Start by reading the Stack GHC installation customisation documentation and the GHCup scripts/hooks/stack/ghc-install.sh script linked in the issue. Then inspect the setup action's configuration entry points to determine where another option belongs. Done means Stack can use the GHC installed by GHCup, with the supported Stack 2.9.1 behavior represented in the action.
