Forget password Invalidate the existing password

In the current implementation, when a user clicks on forget password his/her existing user's password is invalidated. After which even if the user remembers the password he/she won't be able to log in with the password.
Expected - The reset password link should be sent to the user's email id and the existing password shouldn't be invalidated till the time user has created a new password.
