Description

Overview

Before any JS v4.1.0 parity work can begin, we need to lay a structural foundation that mirrors what the JS repo established in PR #632 and PR #973. The three tasks below must be completed in the order listed — each one is a prerequisite for the next.

See full design notes in tasks/v4.1.0-parity-tasks.md and tasks/monorepo-migration.md.

Tasks (implement in order)

  • #354 — Migrate to uv workspace monorepo (foundation — complete first)
  • #355 — Update dependencies and run security audit (depends on #354)
  • #356 — Declare framework deps as optional in adapter packages (depends on #354 and #355)

Parity tasks unlocked after this epic

See tasks/v4.1.0-parity-tasks.md — T1 through T17.

Research direction

Read tasks/v4.1.0-parity-tasks.md and tasks/monorepo-migration.md first, then review issues #354, #355, and #356 in their required order. Begin with the uv workspace migration, followed by dependency and optional-framework work; done means all three prerequisite issues are complete and T1–T17 parity work is unblocked.
