Missing possibility to select text using Smartphones

Hi,
i recognized that editing on Smartphone is really hard because its impossible to select a portion of text in recent CodiMD 1.4.0. I made up a screenshot
There its only possible to use actions "insert" or "select all".
so at the moment its not possible to mark a portion of text to make it bold, italic our strikethrough for example.
is this the intended behaviour?
i tested this with firefox and google chrome on an android phonhe (huawei)
